Central Pattana Vendor Day 2025

In 2025, Central Pattana Public Company Limited carried out a program to develop and enhance the capabilities of local suppliers through "Vendor Day 2025," scaled up nationwide. The main objectives were to communicate the organization's sustainability direction, expand the procurement base to create opportunities for new suppliers, and promote financial stability across the supply chain. Activities were implemented in two regional strategic areas as follows:
- Northern strategic area - Chiang Mai: This area focused on preparing contractors, service providers, and local suppliers in the region to strengthen their capabilities in risk management, cost control, and adaptation to digital-era operating processes.
- Eastern strategic area - Rayong: This area focused on building collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) to expand the supply chain in support of operations across all six shopping centers in the area: Central Chonburi, Central Si Racha, Central Pattaya, Central Marina, Central Rayong, and Central Chanthaburi.
Based on the implementation of these activities, the Company categorized the outcomes and support approaches for suppliers into three key dimensions as follows:
-
Enhancing access to finance
The Company integrated collaboration with five financial institutions and business partners, e.g. Kasikornbank, Krung Thai Bank, Citibank, Investree (Thailand) Company Limited, and AIRA Factoring Public Company Limited, to establish trade liquidity support mechanisms and financial tools, such as alternative fundraising through crowdfunding and revolving credit facilities, to help manage financing costs for SME suppliers. In addition, suppliers were connected with the Innovation and Technology Assistance Program (ITAP) of NSTDA to receive advisory support and funding for adopting automation technologies or artificial intelligence (AI) systems to improve on-site production processes.
-
Upgrading the supply chain to a digital system
The Company used this activity as a channel to improve the efficiency of its overall procurement process, with a cumulative value of more than THB 50 billion, by assigning staff to provide guidance and register new suppliers through the Vendor Portal, a centralized platform that emphasizes transparency and traceability. This was complemented by collaboration with affiliated businesses such as Thai Watsadu to offer standardized materials, equipment, and service solutions, reduce documentation steps, and accelerate the delivery of construction and maintenance work.
-
Governance in line with sustainability practices and the Supplier Code of Conduct
The Company used this event to communicate and build shared understanding of the organization's Supplier Code of Conduct, with emphasis on safety standards, occupational health, and respect for human rights. It also promoted the procurement of environmentally friendly construction materials and services to support the development of green mixed-use projects and advance the Net Zero goals across the value chain.
